This event was designed to equip students with invaluable insights into the Education sector, covering: Educational study pathways,\u00a0 Employment opportunities within SCS while students study and Diverse career pathways within Education.<\/div>\n<div>Attendees had the opportunity to hear from a diverse range of speakers, including early career teachers, industry experts, specialist educators, senior leaders, and representatives from universities.\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Reflection by our College Captain, Annaliese Tannous<\/strong><\/h6>\n<div>Last week, a few students attended\u00a0the\u00a0Sydney\u00a0Catholic\u00a0Schools&#8217; Teaching Careers Expo, having the opportunity to speak with\u00a0teachers,\u00a0principals,\u00a0and\u00a0education\u00a0leaders\u00a0who\u00a0shared\u00a0honest\u00a0insights\u00a0about\u00a0the\u00a0profession, from the joy of helping students\u00a0grow\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0challenges\u00a0and\u00a0responsibilities\u00a0that\u00a0come\u00a0with\u00a0shaping\u00a0young\u00a0learners.\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>Hearing from the panel of teachers, principals and university students sharing their experiences gave me a clearer picture of what it is really like to work\u00a0in\u00a0education, especially\u00a0within\u00a0a\u00a0community\u2011focused system like Sydney Catholic Schools that values support, development, and strong school culture.
