As countries compete for influence through military presence, economic strength and population size, students examined how these different forms of power shape international relationships.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Using a series of world maps showing US military bases, global economic output and population distribution, students investigated patterns of global influence. Through guided analysis, they identified regions where power is concentrated and areas where influence is more limited. Students then applied this evidence to explain how countries interact in a multipolar world, where power is increasingly shared among multiple nations rather than dominated by a single superpower.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The lesson emphasised the value of hands-on geographical inquiry, with students analysing real-world data, identifying spatial patterns and developing evidence-based explanations.
