{"id":22157,"date":"2026-02-20T15:00:50","date_gmt":"2026-02-20T04:00:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/domremy\/?post_type=article&#038;p=22157"},"modified":"2026-02-20T15:00:50","modified_gmt":"2026-02-20T04:00:50","slug":"writer-in-residence","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/domremy\/article\/writer-in-residence\/","title":{"rendered":"Writer in Residence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Our Year 11 students recently participated in a dynamic Writer-in-Residence workshop with Dr Sarah Ayoub. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sarah is the author of three teen novels, including the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Yearbook Committee<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, and five children&#8217;s picture books, including <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Love That Grew<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">How to Be a Friend<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The session focused on coming up with a creative concept and how to write a succinct engaging creative extract.
