The Solemnity of All Saints Day and the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed<\/b><\/p>\n
All Saints Day<\/b> was celebrated on <\/span>November 1<\/b>. It honours all the saints – people throughout history who followed the example of Jesus through faith, love, and service.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n All Souls Day<\/b>, on <\/span>November 2<\/b>, is a time to remember and pray for all who have died. The tradition of praying for the dead has ancient roots and became more widespread around the 10th century.<\/span><\/p>\n Different cultures mark these days in special ways. In the <\/span>Philippines<\/b>, families visit cemeteries to clean tombs, light candles, and pray for loved ones.
