{"id":19010,"date":"2025-05-09T14:58:50","date_gmt":"2025-05-09T04:58:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/domremy\/?post_type=article&#038;p=19010"},"modified":"2025-05-09T14:58:50","modified_gmt":"2025-05-09T04:58:50","slug":"knitting-club-is-back-calling-for-new-or-unused-and-clean-wool","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/domremy\/article\/knitting-club-is-back-calling-for-new-or-unused-and-clean-wool\/","title":{"rendered":"Knitting Club is back &#8211; calling for new or unused and clean wool"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As we start to feel the chill this winter, our thoughts turn to those who are in poor health or who are not able to enjoy a warm environment, including some of our furry friends. <\/p>\n<p>Our Knitting Club is back with planned projects to knit and deliver beanies and fingerless gloves for the Chris O&#8217;Brien Lifehouse and for those sleeping rough, and blankets for pet shelters.<\/p>\n<p>Come along to the Knitting Club, Wednesday and Fridays at lunchtime in the Makerspace. Make new friends, learn a new skill all while knowing that this small contribution of your time WILL make a meaningful and positive impact on someone&#8217;s life.<\/p>\n<p>We always welcome any donations of new and unused clean wool, preferably 8ply or thicker, which will be put to good use.
