Year 9 Global Connections elective – culture and diversity in today’s world

The Year 9 Global Connections elective class has been finishing their topic on culture and diversity in today’s world. This week students have been investigating the Eurovision Song Contest and how this is an opportunity for a variety of countries to convey their unique cultures and traditions to the rest of the world. The class worked in groups to investigate three separate entries for a country over the last 25 years, creating posters on how culture is portrayed in each entry, and then completed a gallery walk to view and review their peers work.
