‘Write a Book In a Day’ – Bake Sale for the Kids’ Cancer Project

What an extraordinary success!!! This week, a team of Year 10 students held a Bake Sale to raise money for the Kids’ Cancer Project. The students raised $664.10. What an amazing effort!!!

All funds go towards research into children’ s cancer and to support sick children in hospital. This was held as part of the ‘Write a Book In a Day’ initiative, during which, next week, students will create, write, illustrate and edit a children’s book in just one day. 

Congratulations to the whole school community for their support of this event, but especially thanks to Emma, Maeve, Olivia, Mariam, Lara, Alysse, Lara, Allanah, Sade and Janice who organised and ran this wonderful lunchtime event.
