Wild West Rodeo Spirit Shines at Athletics Carnival

Wild West Rodeo Spirit Shines at Athletics Carnival

Despite a few showers throughout the day, Tuesday’s Athletics Carnival was a roaring success! The entire school community gathered with high spirits, decked out in their finest Wild West rodeo gear – from cowboy hats and boots to bandanas and plaid shirts – adding a fun and festive vibe to the competition.

This year’s Carnival was extra special as it marked the first time our two new Houses, Siena and Joseph, competed. Both Houses made an impressive debut, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and loud cheers to the field. It was wonderful to see all students embracing the House spirit, cheering each other on, and participating with such passion.

From sprints and relays to long jump and tug-of-war, students gave it their all, showcasing not only athletic talent but also great sportsmanship. The stands were alive with chants, banners, and encouragement – a true reflection of our school’s community spirit.

A huge thank you to all the staff and volunteers who made the day run smoothly, and congratulations to every student for making the carnival one to remember. Rain or shine, our Wild West rodeo-themed Athletics Carnival proved once again that Domremy’s school spirit is always in top form!

Winning house and age champions will be announced soon in a school assembly. Stay tuned!
