St Valentine’s Day Poetry Competition

Well done Angelica – Winner of the St Valentine’s Day Poetry Competition

To celebrate Valentine’s Day this year, Domremy held a Valentine’s Day Poetry Competition, open to students in all year groups. Astrid Mavroudis, our Public Speaking and Debating Prefect, coordinated the competition with the assistance of Year 12 student leaders. Students demonstrated their unique flair through their poetry and all entries received were impressive, of a high standard and showed how much talent we have in poetry writing at Domremy! Students embraced their own interpretation of Valentine’s Day and it was wonderful to see their creativity! Well done to all of the girls who submitted their poems, with a special shout out to Angelica (Y 7) who submitted the winning entry and won five points for Nagle House!
