Spotlight on Isabella Palamara – Class of 2022 alumna
It is always a highlight when we can direct some focus on our past alumnae and their achievements.
For Italians and Italian language enthusiasts, you can read about our recent alumna, Isabella Palamara, Class of 2022, featured in La Fiamma, (25.5.23, pg 21), in an article by Barbara Manzini, “La scelta dei nonni, un esempio e fonte di ispirazione..” = “The choice of grandparents, an example and source of inspiration“.
The article recounts that Isabella was given a special mention at the Italian Education Awards which took place a few weeks ago in Sydney. The article goes on to state that the point of view Isabella expresses in her text, (which centres on the theme of integration into Australian society by Italian immigrants and recounts her grandparents’ and family’s experiences), was expressed with great Italian ‘language properties and a sensitivity that only an artistic soul like hers could have used’.

Isabella is currently studying Musical Theatre at NIDA.
