Silver Medals for Robotics and Coding 🥈🤖 ⚙️💻🦿

On Tuesday 29 August, the after school Domremy Tech Explorers Club entered the Robocup Challenge held at Holy Cross College, Ryde. 

 

Our students thoroughly enjoyed the day and applied their STEM, collaboration and critical thinking skills as best they could.

 

Well done to all our teams and a huge congratulations for our Year 7 team who placed; the first time Domremy has placed in this competition.

 

After competing against other schools’ robots, our Year 7 team: Lillian,  Jana, Natalie and their robot ‘King Bob’, achieved enough points to place second in the Riley Rover Rescue Challenge and were awarded silver medals and a trophy!

 

Well done to all our participants; we are very excited for next year’s challenge!
