Pink Ribbon Walk
Our Domremy community celebrated Pink Ribbon Week last week, to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation.
This year’s pink theme was ‘Heroes In Pink’, in commemoration of the heroes fighting to beat breast cancer.
We were particularly excited to celebrate this year with the school community via our pink stalls throughout the week, where students could purchase merchandise such as pink pins, lolly bags, bracelets, and sweet treats.
As tradition, the entire Domremy community were also encouraged to participate in the morning walk on Thursday around the Bay in their pink outfits, in support of the cause and to raise awareness for the foundation. A massive thank you to all members of the community involved!
Following our walk we were indulged with an assortment of breakfast items made up of donations from our new Year 12s while the fun continued with music.
A huge congratulations to our Domremy community for making this week such a success through your participation and donations, and a massive thank you to all teachers involved, particularly Mrs Kshatriya, Mrs Vari and our leadership team for all of your tireless efforts over the past few weeks in making that week as great as it was.
