New and returning staff

It is indeed my pleasure to warmly welcome our new staff. It is always exciting to have new people join our community, as each will bring with them energy, enthusiasm, and a wealth of expertise and experience.

Lucy Silva

My name is Lucy Silva and I have been appointed to the College Leadership Team as Instructional Specialist and I will work closely with staff and students to collaboratively review and shape whole school pedagogical developments in practice. Using evidence-based research and a range of data sources I will work with staff to design professional learning and coaching to lead improvements in engaging experiential learning that addresses the needs of students and teachers.  I have been a Secondary Leader of Learning Literacy & EAL/D for the Southern Region Sydney Catholic Schools secondary colleges. I have also been a Curriculum and Learning Coordinator, English Coordinator, an English and EAL/D teacher.

Diana Arida

My name is Diana Arida and I have been teaching for a number of years,  my area of expertise is in the humanities. This year I am excited to be working in the HSIE department in a job share arrangement with Ms Jade Lynch. I have already met many staff and students and have been overwhelmed with the kindness and hospitality that the Domremy community has extended to me. I look forward to meeting you all.

Mandy Chung

My name is Mandy Chung and I will be teaching Mathematics. I am now in my 5th year of teaching and I look forward to getting to know the students of Domremy College! I feel very fortunate to be here.

Felicity Freckmann

My name is Felicity Freckmann, an English and Drama Secondary teacher who has worked across Sydney, most recently at an Independent all-girls school. Other subjects I have taught include Religious Education, History, Geography, and Drama with experience in collaborative teaching and integrated curriculum. I love literature, poetry and theatre and have many pets.

Andriana Hagios

My name is Andriana Hagios and I am delighted to join the Domremy College community as TAS Coordinator. Since graduating from the Australian Catholic University, I’ve held numerous leadership positions at Bethlehem College since 2007. My passion is to inspire young women to immerse themselves in this fast-paced and ever-advancing field of Technology. I strongly believe studies in these areas will equip young minds with the skill set they need to succeed in the jobs of tomorrow.

Jade Lynch

I am a teacher of the Humanities faculty here at Domremy College and I teach History, Geography, Commerce, Legal Studies and Studies of Religion.
I began my teaching career in 2008 at Patrician Brothers College in Fairfield, since then I worked at Freeman Catholic College until I began working at Domremy in 2018. I am passionate about the education of young women and focused on student wellbeing and academic success. 
I am looking forward to the year ahead and rejoining the community since my leave of absence last year.
