Knitting Club is back!

As we feel the chill this winter, and although we are over the half way mark of the chilly season, our thoughts turn to those not enjoying good health or warm environments, who especially feel and will continue to feel the cold well after the end of August. Our Knitting Club is back with planned projects to knit and deliver beanies and fingerless gloves for the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and for those sleeping rough, and blankets for pet shelters.

Come along to the Knitting Club, Wednesday and Fridays at lunchtime in the Makerspace.

Any donations of new and unused wool, preferably 8ply or thicker, to the Student Office, are always welcome and will be put to good use.
