Invitation from St Joan of Arc Parish to Feast of Mary, Marion Celebration

St Joan of Arc Parish, Haberfield, will be celebrating the Feast of Mary, our Mother and Queen at the 9am Mass on Sunday, 24th August. This Mass will be a multilingual mix with a reading and Prayers of the Faithful in various languages. Following Mass there will be a procession, where the statue of Mary will be carried around the church and then across to the school grounds for a light lunch. During the procession we will recite the Rosary in honour of Our Lady.

St Joan of Arc Parish would like to invite staff, students and families at Domremy College to join us in the Marion celebration. We are also welcoming volunteers to assist with lunch by providing a dish from their culture – hot or cold, sweet or savoury. We want this to be a multicultural expression of our faith where we can celebrate our various beginnings. Our Welcome & Events Committee will organise the social side to the event and supplement the food donations we receive for lunch.
