In the Fireworks find your Flair – Spotlight on Eisla (Y7) – Qualifies in High Jump for National All Schools

In this edition we spotlight Eisla (Year 7), who represented the College at NSW All Schools in the holidays.

Eisla competed in the 400M and High Jump.

Eisla placed came 3^rd in the 400M, with a personal best time of 58.99 seconds, placing her in the top 5 in the country this year (the first and second place getters were the current national champion and the prior national champion). Remarkably, Eisla hadn’t raced the 400M since she raced it 3 years ago at her school athletics carnival and had not trained for it. 

In High Jump Eisla placed 2^nd  earning her a silver medal and qualifying for the National All Schools competition in December when she will again represent the College.  

Eisla has also already qualified for the Athletics Australia (National) Championships in Perth in April next year, for both the 400M and High Jump and is also planning to get a 200M qualifying time.
