Congratulations to Aashana, Year 7, who placed 1st in the Solo Drama – Self Devised Monologue at the Sydney Catholic Schools Eisteddfod.
Aashana, who was the youngest in her category, began nervous going in, but pushed through and surprised herself with the win.
Working for months on her piece, Aashana tackled the topic of bullying in her monologue, something the adjudicator expressed was a powerful and much-needed choice.
