Class of 2025: Dodgeball game – Students v Teachers 19.9.25

Class of 2025: Dodgeball game – Students v Teachers 19.9.25

One of our school’s favourite traditions, the Year 12 vs Teachers Dodgeball Game, made its return last week as an annual tradition for our graduating Year 12s. With the help of our phenomenal Sports Coordinator Ms Angilletta, I had the privilege of organising this event.

The atmosphere was truly vibrant, as many students gathered at the tennis courts during lunchtime to support this year’s Year 12 vs Teachers Dodgeball Game. It was very heartwarming to see not only students but other staff cheering us on with such enthusiasm. It’s safe to say that their energy united our Domremy community together in a way I never would’ve expected.

Year 12 was represented by a team of a few of our students, house captains and myself who came determined to challenge their teachers. Our staff were equally as competitive and strived for success. With each round tightly contested, the teachers secured a narrow 5–4 victory in the end. Despite the outcome, the true success was shown through our team spirit and through the lasting memories created between the teachers and the graduating class.

A sincere thank you to everyone who participated and supported the event to make this tradition possible, and once again, we are extremely grateful for Ms Angilletta who was our umpire. Lastly, for the Year 12s, this day will definitely be cherished as one of the many memories in our final year.
