Class of 2024: R U OK? Day

Class of 2024: R U OK? Day

#RUOK is a reminder to check in and celebrate!

Year 12 recognised R U OK? Day on Thursday 12 September, by handing out smiley face pins at the front gate as a reminder of the importance of checking in on ourselves and others. With exams and various events approaching, it is vital to pause, reflect, and remember that no one faces challenges alone. In the spirit of the Olympics motto, our 2024 College Vice-Captain, Sophia Ghantos, reminded the girls that we can go further and be stronger when we support each other.

To celebrate, Year 12 hosted upbeat performances during lunch, where everyone was invited to join in singing songs of hope. This day served as a powerful reminder to prioritise mental health and foster unity in our community.

Year 12’s leadership in organising this event highlights the strength of unity, compassion, and positivity within our school. As we move forward, let’s carry forward the message of R U OK? Day, knowing that together we are stronger and more resilient.
