Celebrity Chef Katherine Sabbath Inspires Year 9 Food Technology Students

We were thrilled to welcome the talented celebrity chef, Katherine Sabbath, into our Year 9 Food Technology classroom for an unforgettable cake-decorating lesson! Katherine, known for her stunning cake designs, her role as a MasterChef judge on Channel 10, and most recently, as a contestant on Bake Masters, shared her unique skills and creative flair with our students.

During the lesson, Katherine demonstrated how to make one of her eye-catching cakes from her latest cookbook, Bake My Day. The students were captivated as they learned professional cake decorating techniques from a true expert, bringing her cookbook’s vibrant recipes to life right before their eyes. It’s not every day that a celebrity chef visits the classroom!

But the surprises didn’t end there—Katherine generously gifted each student a personalized, signed copy of Bake My Day as an early Christmas treat. The students were absolutely thrilled, and we are incredibly grateful for Katherine’s time, expertise, and generosity.
