Blessing and Opening of NNLC and Presentation Feast Day
Our Nano Nagle Learning Centre was formally blessed and opened on Monday 21 November with a beautiful Ceremony presided over by Bishop Daniel Meagher and Fr Phil Zadro.
We celebrated this occasion on a significant day in the lives of Presentation people everywhere, the Feast Day of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Temple. We are delighted that our Presentation Sisters, Sister Margaret Barclay, Sister Cecilia Wiltshire, Sister Mary Walsh and Sister Marietta Mangelsdorf.
The day commenced with our 2023 Leadership Team welcoming all our invited and special guests, followed by the whole school gathering in the Brenda Quinn Hall for the Ceremony.
There was a pause during the Ceremony when we were treated to some beautiful performances by some of our students, while Bishop Meagher and the official party moved through the NNLC for the blessing.
This was followed by Morning Tea for all our guests, and the cutting of the celebratory cake in honour of our Presentation Sisters, who were also presented with bunches of flowers for their special day.
A momentous day which adds to the rich history of this amazing College and the people who have walked through it, do so today and will continue to do so.
