A Good Deed for Lent!

A Good Deed for Lent!

Lenten good deed – Haircut for a great cause! 💇‍♀️✂️

On Saturday 9 March, Alessia and Jasmine, (Year 10) made the decision to cut 30cm of their hair to donate to the Kids with Cancer Foundation. They were inspired to do this good deed as part of their Lenten journey. They also have a family history of people with cancer and, with some research, found that donating cut hair to the Foundation can help a child with cancer feel more confident – the hair is recycled as a child’s wig.

A thoughtful and useful act!
