The title says is all really!
Â
Our 2026 Student Leadership Team did an amazing job in the lead up to and during Pink Week last week, with a variety of initiatives to raise as much as they could for the National Breast Cancer Foundation for world class research.
Â
Uniting the community our 2026 College Captain, Annaliese Tannous and our 2026 Events Prefect, Isabella Colubriale, delivered this message:
“This week, we unite as a school community to recognise Pink Ribbon Week, supporting awareness and research for, and prevention of breast cancer. Each day this week we are running a variety of fundraising activities, such as a lolly guessing competition, bake sales, House competition coin lines, trivias, karaoke and of course, our Pink Ribbon Walk and Breakfast on Thursday.
Feel free to share our donation page with friends and family.
On Thursday, everyone who takes part in the morning walk is warmly invited to stay afterwards and enjoy a light breakfast together. It’s a great opportunity to relax, chat, and celebrate your efforts.
Let’s make this a week full of fun, pink, and purpose!
Thank you for your generosity and support in standing up for such an important cause.”
Â
What followed during that week was heart warming. There was a fabulous turn out of our amazing young women for the College’s traditional Pink Ribbon Walk and Breakfast last Thursday. The fundraising continued and at last count a staggering amount just shy of $12,000 was raised for the Foundation.
Â
Thank you to all who helped in whatever way they could, contributed, supported, donated, supplied, set up, dished out, cleaned up, showed up and generally gave of their time towards this worthy cause.
