Celebrating Our Presentation Sisters
Celebrating with five wonderful women, our Presentation Sisters
The Domremy College community enjoyed celebrating 200 years of Catholic education in Australia with five wonderful women representing the Presentation Sisters. We are very grateful that they were able to attend Domremy Mass and morning tea where we shared many stories and laughs of experiences throughout the years. Our very special guests were Sisters Margaret Barclay, Maureen Watson, Cecilia Wiltshire, Colleen Maloney and Ruth O’Dwyer. The Domremy community acknowledges the dedication and commitment of each of these amazing women, who over the years devote so much of their energy and passion for education and the welfare of staff and students in our community. The sisters have always been committed to the relief of suffering and injustice within an educational context, inspired by Nano Nagle’s work in Ireland. Nano clearly established a vision that education is a means of empowering people for life and the Domremy community is strengthened by their presence each time they visit.
