From the Religious Education Coordinator – In our Community … Year 9 Reflection Day
In our Community …
Year 9 Reflection Day
Year 9 enjoyed a meaningful and uplifting Reflection Day with presenter Chris Doyle, exploring the themes of courage, vulnerability, letting go, kindness, compassion, and seeing Jesus in others. Through music, storytelling and shared activities, students reflected on the friendships they form and the way they care for one another.
A highlight of the day was the chance to connect with classmates they may not usually spend time with, strengthening bonds across the year group and building a deeper sense of community. The atmosphere was joyful, open and supportive, and students engaged wholeheartedly throughout.
It was a wonderful and very successful day, leaving Year 9 inspired to bring greater kindness and compassion into their daily lives.
