Domremy Students Celebrated for Excellence in ANZAC Activity Schools Award

Domremy College was proudly represented on Thursday 14 May as four students received honours in the 2026 Five Dock RSL Sub‑Branch ANZAC Activity Schools Award. The program invites young people to explore the ANZAC story in meaningful ways, encouraging them to think deeply about service, sacrifice, and national memory.

Students from across the local community contributed entries in creative, written, and research categories. Domremy’s participants stood out for the maturity of their ideas, the quality of their work, and the respect they showed for the ANZAC legacy.

Their achievements reflect a strong commitment to understanding Australia’s wartime history and honouring those who served. Through thoughtful inquiry and expressive storytelling, these students demonstrated the values of remembrance and gratitude that continue to shape ANZAC commemorations today.

We extend our warmest congratulations to all recipients for their outstanding efforts and for representing Domremy College with distinction:

– Ava (Y8) recipient of the President’s Recongition Award
– Henrietta (Y10) 1st place
– Ruby (Y10) 2nd place
– Aurelia (Y10) 3rd place
