Class of 2025: Care packages from Feeder Primary School students 23.9.25

Tuesday, the day before our graduation, my cohort was blessed with the most beautiful and touching surprise from our beloved feeder primary school students. We were greeted by small voices carrying powerful words of encouragement, heartfelt prayers, and gentle reminders to trust in God and His wisdom as we navigate this often stressful chapter of our lives. Their kindness was not only spoken but also gifted to us through thoughtful care packages, each containing a prayer card invoking the intercession of Saint Thomas Aquinas, the patron saint of students, a Miraculous Medal, a chaplet, and a little chocolate treat to brighten our study sessions. Adding to this loving gesture, each Year 12 student received a handwritten letter from a primary school student, filled with personal and uplifting messages that deeply moved us. As we read their words, many of us (myself included) were overcome with a sense of nostalgia, bringing back memories of our own early days, and in a way, it helped us reflect on how far we’ve come. On behalf of the graduating class, we extend our heartfelt thanks to these young students for their compassion and effort. May their youthful light and vibrant spirit continue to shine brightly as they begin their own journey at Domremy in the years to come.

Thank you to the schools, staff and beautiful students from St Patrick’s Mortlake, Our lady of the Assumption North Strathfield and All Hallows Five Dock.
