Class of 2025/Class of 2026: Leadership Information Exchange

Last week I had the privilege of holding a meeting with both the current 2025 leadership team and the newly elected 2026 leadership team. This meeting was an important opportunity to reflect on our own journey as leaders while also preparing the incoming team for the responsibilities and challenges that come with their roles.

I found it rewarding to share insight into what we have learnt throughout the year both the highlights and the challenges that shaped us. Together with the prefects, we were able to pass on practical tips, advice, and strategies that we believe will help the new leaders transition smoothly and grow in confidence as they take on their roles. It was amazing to see the eagerness of the 2026 team as they listened and asked questions regarding life as a leader. 

I am honoured to have had the opportunity as College Capitan for 2025, making memorable moments with the Class of 2025 and I can’t wait to see what the 2026 Leadership team brings to the Domremy community.

Taking part in the leadership information exchange gave me an inspiring insight into what lies ahead as we step into our roles for 2026. I found the exchange to be an incredibly valuable experience, listening to the current leadership team reflect on their journey gave me a clearer picture of both the challenges and the rewarding opportunities that come with this role. The practical advice they shared from balancing commitments , organising events to working with teachers and students has already inspired me to think deeply about how I can serve our community with dedication and confidence just as they did.

Their encouraging words have definitely inspired me and I am grateful for the time the 2025 leaders gave us, I look forward to building on their legacy. This meeting left me excited for the year ahead, and I am committed to working closely with the 2026 leadership team to bring fresh ideas, uphold our College values, and continue strengthening the spirit of the Domremy community.
