2026 College Student Leadership Team Retreat on campus to develop College theme

2026 College Student Leadership Team Retreat on campus to develop College theme

Earlier this week our 2026 College Student Leadership Team gathered for an on campus retreat – Day 1 of 2.

One of their main tasks was to develop the 2026 Student College theme, which will carry us through next year.

This will be presented to the College community at the Opening Assembly in 2026.  We will be holding Day 2 of our Student Leadership Retreat in the following week – date yet to be advised.

A reflection on the Retreat from our College Captain below:

Over two enriching days, the student leadership team stepped away from the usual rhythm of school life to reflect, connect, and grow. Through fun bonding activities, discussions, and shared moments, we explored what it truly means to be a leader. We spoke openly about our goals, ideas, our college themes, and the kind of culture we hope to foster amongst our community this year. It was a chance to listen, to be heard, and to build a foundation of trust and purpose that will carry us forward. Through a variety of enriching activities, and guidance from our teachers the leadership team had the opportunity to truly learn more about each other, ourselves and the type of leaders we hope to be. The retreat reminded us that leadership is about being a servant like Christ and putting others’ needs before our own. Key themes of unity motivated our discussions and we as a team hope to step into the year ahead, maintaining not only a shared vision, but a renewed commitment to lead with unity, grounded in faith and inspired to serve.
