Science and Engineering Challenge

The Year 9 and Year 10 iSTEM students participated in the Science and Engineering Challenge at Homebush on Monday 24 March 2025. The students were placed in groups and allocated problem-solving tasks ranging from electrical and communication to bridge building and sustainable energy solutions using a wind-turbine. Students were awarded points for each activity depending on how well they solved the problem. Students benefited from this activity by developing skills in team work and general problem-solving.
