Prayer

Our prayer this week is based on the Scripture readings from Sunday Mass 23 March

Loving God,

You call us to turn back to You with open hearts.

Just as You were patient with Your people in the desert,

You are patient with us, always inviting us to grow in love and faith.

Help us to recognise the moments in our lives where we need to change.

Give us the courage to let go of selfishness, distractions, and anything that keeps us from You.

Like the fig tree in the Gospel, may we allow You to nurture us so that we can bear good fruit in the world.

Teach us to trust in Your mercy and to use this Lenten season to grow closer to You.

We ask this through Christ, our Lord.
