Archbishop of Sydney – Student Leadership Forum
Last Friday, 15 November, our 2025 College Captain, Vice-Captains and Faith & Mission Prefect attended the Archbishop of Sydney’s Student Leadership Forum at St Mary’s Cathedral. There they spoke and collaborated with leaders from a range of different Sydney Catholic Schools, creating ideas and deepening the understanding of the Catholic faith.
His Grace, the Most Rev Archbishop Anthony Fisher OP, answered some burning questions from students and led them on to develop a deeper understanding of young Catholics in today’s society. We discussed issues young Catholics face in our modern society today, along with influential ways to enhance Catholic culture within our school communities, and bringing hope to the church and society, for a positive change to the future of the Catholic community for our young generations.
We formulated valuable questions for the Archbishop to respond to, in order to gain a greater insight and advice on raising issues in society, and how to lead with an example of the Catholic faith. This experience was also vital in gaining strong collaboration and communication with our fellow peers from other Sydney Catholic Schools, to share ideas, values and ways to strengthen the Catholic community for the better of our future.
