Year 10 Textiles Technology

What is the first thing you think about when you hear “….at the bottom of the garden?” Fairies, magic, mystery and everything in between. 

Year 10 Textiles Technology students were busy in Term 3 designing and producing highly creative and innovative fairy costumes that incorporated a bespoke fabric embellishment such as hand made flowers. This beautifully delicate feature was accompanied with a variety of enchanting features such as embroidery, beading, lace, tulle and more. Students interpreted the inspiration …‘at the bottom of the garden’ to capture flowers in the springtime, iconic Disney characters, enchanting and whimsical fairies or Victorian era styles and silhouettes.
