Duke of Edinburgh Adventurous Journey – Silver Experience
Our Silver Duke of Edinburgh trip was by far our favourite yet. We had an amazing time hiking and canoeing over the four days we were there. In total, we covered around 40km. We made lots of new friends, and we created lots of memories. We learnt how to navigate in new terrain by following a compass and bearing and did lots of bush-bashing. We used a Trangia to cook our dinner and breakfast and got to roast marshmallows over the fire each night. On our final night, we got to see and interact with the Somerset horses, cows and even an emu. Overall, our Silver Duke of Edinburgh experience was educational and highly enjoyable.
