Debating and Public Speaking Adjudicators

Such is the strength of Debating and Public Speaking at Domremy College, we are often asked to send students to some of our local primary schools to assist with adjudication. This week, Isabella and Lara had the opportunity to adjudicate at St Mark’s Drummoyne. The standard of public speaking is lifting across the many primary schools and Domremy College benefits enormously from this, through our enrolment of students with a desire to compete in public speaking and debating, but also the ability to sit on the other side of the table and adjudicate, helping our students become more familiar with the techniques and criteria for success in this area. All of this, of course, has great benefits across a number of subjects and courses.
