Domremy Newman Maths and Science Initiative – Year 5 and Year 9 students
On Friday we welcomed Year 5 students from St Joan of Arc Catholic Primary School Haberfield, St Mary’s Catholic Primary School Concord, All Hallows Catholic Primary School Five Dock and Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Primary School North Strathfield, who are participating in the Domremy Newman Maths and Science Initiative.
In a collaboration with Ashfield Olympic Park Network schools, Year 5 Newman students are paired with Year 9 Domremy Newman students as mentors, for the College’s “Let There Be Light” Project-Based Learning Collaboration.
After this month long initiative, students will have the opportunity to showcase their experiences and learnings at the Domremy Light Festival on Friday 19 June 2024, 6-8pm. All are welcome to join us for this spectacular.
