Five Silvers and a Gold for Isabella – Australian Dragon Boat National Championships
Once again we congratulate Isabella Taranto (Year 10), on her achievements in Dragon Boating. We reported on Isabella’s selection to both the NSW and Australian teams for Dragon Boating, in our La Verite – Issue 2/2023.
As an update, Isabella spent the last five days of the April school holidays in Albury at the Nationals, The Australian Dragon Boat Championships (AusChamps), held at Gateway Lakes, Albury/Wodonga from 20-24 April 2023. Isabella represented both at the club and state level.

and at the state level, where, as Co-Captain of the NSW team, she came away with both a silver and a gold medal .

.We wish Isabella all the best for the training ahead of her, as she prepares the 16th World Dragon Boat Championship in Pattaya, Thailand in August this year, where she will compete for Australia’s Junior Auroras Dragon Boat Team, U16.
