Dear Parents and Caregivers

On Monday we were thrilled to have four master clinicians share their expertise, as part of our Performance Plus Series. Individual improvement and commitment over time, is a t the heart of music-making. The Masterclasses were split up into four categories for the first: Strings, Winds, Contemporary Music and Piano. Thank you to Ms Janet Davies, Dr Nightingale, Mr David Stratton, and Francis Greepe for giving their time and sharing their expertise with our musicians. Thank you to all the participants for preparing their pieces so diligently.

Ensemble Rehearsals

As the seasons change, so will sport training times. Mr Grice and I work closely to ensure students can participate in both music and sporting activities throughout the year. Rehearsal I’d like to remind all parents and students that Core ensembles on Monday through Friday morning are to be prioritised over sporting sessions. If any student has an individual request, it should be made in writing to myself and Mr Grice.

Events

Our Easter Concert is our final performance of Term 2 and will take place next week on Tuesday 26 March in the Memorial Chapel.
