Middle School Ethics Olympiad

Congratulations to our Middle School Ethics Olympiad team who performed in their first Olympiad last week. Charlie Clark, Grayson Gerber, Felix Evans, Aaryan Mahtani, Weston Rose, and Archer Wong achieved an Honourable Mention for their excellent ethical arguments on topics ranging from fast fashion to inter-racial adoption to justification of lying. Utilising their knowledge of different ethical frameworks including the Golden Rule, deontology, utilitarianism, virtue ethics and relativism, the students performed very well in 5 heats of discussions throughout the day.
