Teachers vs Students Basketball Game
On Friday, 22 November, the Year 6 students took on the teachers in a competitive basketball game in Dangar Gym. The students, riding high on the confidence of an extremely successful season under their coach Mr Cohen, looked to dominate the court. Their speed and agility gave them a clear advantage, often dribbling circles around teachers who seemed stuck in the mud. However, the teachers used their height, securing key rebounds and second-chance points, with Mrs. Henry standing out for her sharp shooting, landing an important basket that shifted the game’s momentum. Despite impressive performances from all students, particularly Jacob B and Kiran J, the teachers ultimately claimed victory—though the real winners seemed to be the physiotherapists and chiropractors, who were undoubtedly on standby for the teachers after the match.
