Dear P-Y6 Parents,
We have enjoyed a busy week with Sport, Music and Special Group Photos and the House Spelling Bee underway, as well as Year 6 visiting St Catherine’s for ‘Write a Book in a Day’. A special thank you to Mrs Lara Fleetwood, Ms Kerry Duncan, Mr Etiosa Okunbor, Mrs Sarah Cleave, Miss Amelia Laumberg, Mr Kevin Muldoon, Ms Megan Light, Mrs Genet Erickson Adam and Mr Richard Baker and the staff from St Catherine’s for making the Y6 WABIAD such a success for all our Y6 students.
Congratulations to our Year 5 and Year 6 da Vinci teams who received the following results in the 2023 State da Vinci Decathlon. Our teams competed against 70 other schools in the Year 5 division and 77 in the Year 6 division.
Year 6 team gained:
- 10th place in Creative Producers
- 16th place in Mathematics
Year 5 team gained:
- 9th place in Creative Producers
- 9th place in Cartography
Enormous thanks to our team organisers and trainers, Mrs Christina Cellini, Mrs Heather Brodie, Mr Richard Baker, Ms Sophie Boniface and Mr Josh Botto.
