Dear Parents,

Last Friday, Mr Baker and Mr Noble accompanied eight of our Year 6 students as they took part in the World Prayer Day at St Michael’s Anglican Church. Year 6 students from Kambala also attended the service. Our boys did a wonderful job representing our School and contributing to the service and engaging with those present.

Grandparents’ Day
Shortly, our families will receive an Operoo form with information about our Grandparents’ Day planned for Wednesday, 29 March. Please save the date! We are looking forward to welcoming these very special people in the lives of our students!

Carlines
Recently, the School has received several complaints from our neighbours about the blocking of Kent Rd from 2:30pm when school families are lining up in cars to wait for the carline to open. It is then impossible for other users of the road to travel up Kent Road for more than 20 minutes. Please do not enter Kent Road early for your son’s carline and block the road for other users.

Kindergarten parents should enter Kent Road after 2.45pm. Parents of students in Years 1 and 2 should not arrive before 2:55pm, as they cause congestion in the Kindergarten carline, making it harder to safely and efficiently assist our youngest students to be collected. Parents of boys in Y3-Y6 should arrive after 3.15pm.

Please be aware that Woollahra Council will be sending their parking rangers and booking cars that are stationary before the carline opens. Parents are welcome to park behind Lyne Park and then walk in to collect their sons. Older students are encouraged to use buses to travel to and from school where practical. We ask for our parents’ full cooperation, so we can be good neighbours.

Kind wishes,

Michele Marquet
