Little League Sports Report Round 4
Congratulations to all our students for another fantastic week of sport, where they showcased their best efforts and sportsmanship. In Year 6 football, the matches were incredibly intense, with nail-biting moments deciding the outcomes. Year 3 and 4 football teams displayed dominance in their performances, impressing us all. The rugby matches were hard-fought, yielding mixed results, but the boys demonstrated great determination. As we approach the second half of the winter season, we encourage all the boys to continue putting in their best efforts and maintaining focus during training sessions. Keep up the fantastic work, boys!

Year 6A Football
The 6As Football team celebrated a hard-fought victory, triumphing 2-1 against Riverview. Eamonn R found the back of the net, contributing to the team’s success. Oliver G demonstrated outstanding passing and positioning skills, contributing significantly to the team’s overall performance. The team’s hard work and effort are clearly paying off, as evidenced by their well-deserved win.
Year 6B Football
The 6Bs Football team had an intense match against Riverview, unfortunately losing 4-3. George A and Rocco B displayed their scoring prowess by finding the back of the net. The team exhibited great individual efforts and a remarkable work ethic throughout the game. Lachlan S stood out with his outstanding work rate, while Henry W showcased excellent defensive skills. Rocco B also deserves special mention for his exceptional goal. Despite the loss, the team’s performance demonstrated their determination and dedication.
Year 6C Football
The 6Cs Football team experienced a 2-0 loss against Trinity Grammar Prep School. Marcus R displayed exceptional stamina and an immense work rate, making notable contributions to the team’s efforts. Zachary S and Zac G showcased impressive dribbling skills up front, while Tesak C had an excellent performance in goal during the second half, showcasing his goalkeeping abilities.
Year 5A Football
In the match between 5As football and Waverley, the team unfortunately suffered a 1-0 loss. Despite the result, Rhidian S demonstrated remarkable tenacity and physicality throughout the game, leaving a lasting impact on the field. Kiran J made notable contributions with his forward runs, creating opportunities for the team.

5Cs football had a closely contested match against Waverley, narrowly losing by a score of 7-6. Dante I, Luca, and Rhidian S were the goal scorers for the team. Dante I had an unforgettable game, displaying exceptional skills and vision while playing up top. His outstanding performance greatly impacted the match.

4As football secured a hard-fought 4-2 victory against Grammar St Ives. The goal scorers included Alexander R, Minato Y, Santiago D, and Hugo L. Hugo L and Freddy F deserve special recognition for their exceptional focus and commitment, maintaining high standards throughout the challenging game.

In the 4Cs Football fixture against Grammar St Ives, the team secured an impressive 9-0 victory. Henry R, Leo M, Jack F, Sebastian R, and Mason P all found the back of the net. Sebastian R’s hat trick stood out, as he not only scored but also displayed a strong overall performance. Leo M contributed two goals and provided crucial assists during the game. The collective effort of the team resulted in a dominant win.
Year 4D Football
4Ds football dominated their match against Grammar St Ives, winning with an impressive score of 8-0. The goal scorers were Sam, Jonathan K, Harvey H (3 goals), Tom W, Benjamin P, and Rafferty P. Benjamin P exhibited great sportsmanship and teamwork by volunteering to go in goal. Jonathan K continued to display his excellent form, contributing significantly to the team’s success.
Year 3A Football
3As football showcased their skills in a resounding 9-1 victory against Scots. Teddy B, Eddie C, Trystan T, and Harvey C were among the goal scorers. Teddy B stood out with an outstanding performance, scoring an impressive five goals. The entire team deserves recognition for their effort during training and games, which contributed to their commanding win.
Year 3B Football
In the 3Bs Football fixture against Scots, the team emerged victorious with a convincing 5-1 win. Luca S, Alfie L, and Woody V H W contributed to the scoreline with their well-executed goals. Woody V particularly shone with a remarkable hat trick, capitalizing on a flurry of outstanding assists from the rest of the team. The boys exhibited great determination and fought hard to secure the win, showcasing their teamwork and skill on the field.
Year 3C Football
In the 3Cs Football match against Scots, the team emerged victorious with a 6-4 scoreline. Evan H, Harry N, Teddy A, and Archie S all contributed to the goal tally. Teddy A stood out with an exemplary performance, displaying a high work rate in both defence and attack. Harry N showcased his skills by scoring two goals from a defensive position, proving that anyone can score regardless of their position on the field. Evan H sealed the match with the team’s sixth goal. The collective effort and contributions from the players resulted in a well-deserved win.
Year 3D Football
In an outstanding performance, the 3Ds football team secured a resounding 17-1 victory over Scots. The team demonstrated exceptional teamwork and goal-scoring prowess throughout the match. Thomas C, Otto H, Liam E, Oliver B, Heiji C, and Oliver H were among the scorers, showcasing their individual skills and contributions to the team’s success.
Otto H deserves special mention for his relentless work rate all over the field. His non-stop efforts and dedication to the game were evident, making a significant impact on both ends of the pitch. Otto’s tireless work ethic and commitment were undoubtedly crucial in the team’s dominant performance.
Overall, the 3Ds team displayed remarkable teamwork and skill, and Otto H’s exceptional work rate was a standout factor in their comprehensive victory.
Year 3E Football
On the other hand, in a triumphant fixture, 3Es football secured a convincing 5-1 victory against Scots. James A stood out with an impressive display of clinical finishing, scoring three goals for the team. His goal-scoring prowess was instrumental in the team’s success. Additionally, Kai J showcased commendable defensive efforts, making valuable contributions both in defending and supporting the team’s attacks with his presence on the pitch. Liam C and Kai J also contributed with a goal each, further contributing to the team’s dominant performance.
Year 3F Football
3Fs football had an outstanding victory, winning 7-0 against Scots. The goal scorers included Niel M, Bailey K, and Remy G. Bailey K had a fantastic performance as he not only scored a goal but also showed his versatility by stepping in as the goalkeeper. Niel M was named the man of the match for his excellent linkup play and goal-scoring contributions. The entire team demonstrated great teamwork and dedication throughout the match, securing a well-deserved win.











Rugby Round 4
Year 6A Rugby
In the 6As Rugby match against Redfield, the team fought hard but ultimately lost with a score of 31-22. David A, Steven H, Aidan M, and Carter M scored tries, with Steven H successfully converting one. Steven H stood out with his excellent defensive performance, while David A showcased great overall skills and ball-carrying abilities. Loic B delivered a strong performance, demonstrating improvement and growth with each passing week.
Year 6B Rugby
The 6Bs Rugby team enjoyed a successful round, securing wins against Barker (25-5) and St Pats (35-0). Elvis L, Max C, Will T, Lachy R-W, Max N, Arthur D, and Sol G were among the try scorers. The team exhibited exceptional passing throughout the matches, and Elvis L demonstrated dominance in all aspects of the game. The boys showcased extraordinary passing skills, and Sol G proved to be a force in the ruck, complemented by excellent support play from the rest of the team.
Year 5A Rugby
5As rugby had a close match against St Patrick’s, unfortunately losing by a narrow margin of 22-19. Among the try scorers were Charlie R and Oliver H, who displayed great skill and determination. Charlie H stood out for his fantastic defensive performance, making crucial tackles throughout the game. Angus D made significant contributions in all aspects of the match, showcasing his versatility and commitment. Sam S demonstrated composure both in attack and defence, playing a vital role for the team.
Year 5B Rugby
The 5Bs Rugby team experienced a mix of results in their matches. They secured a solid 25-10 victory against St Pats but faced a loss of 30-10 against Redlands. Throughout the games, try scorers such as Sam S, Jack R, Jack E, and Oliver F displayed their skills and determination. Jack E and Louie B deserve recognition for their strong presence in the cleanouts and their relentless pressure on the opposition with their impressive speed. The team’s coaches are immensely proud of the development and progress made by these two players, showcasing their commitment to improvement.
Year 4A Rugby
Unfortunately, the 4As Rugby team suffered a loss against Riverview with a score of 29-7. William S managed to contribute a try to the team’s scoreline. Hadley S stood out with his courageous tackling, showcasing his determination on the field. The boys acknowledged the need to work hard in the tackle contest to compete against formidable opponents like Riverview, highlighting an area of improvement for future matches.
Year 4B Rugby
The 4Bs Rugby team had a successful weekend, securing victories against Grammar and Newington. Will W and Lachlan made impressive contributions with their tries. Will W stood out with his strong ball-running abilities, while Josh M showcased his tackling prowess. Lachlan B displayed efforts on both sides of the ball, highlighting his commitment and determination.
Year 3 Red Rugby
The 3Red Rugby team had a mixed round of fixtures, winning one game and losing the other. They faced a defeat against Scots with a score of 10-5, where Wolf T made a notable contribution with a try. Ben H demonstrated excellent organizational skills and game sense, guiding the team with his astute decision-making. However, in the match against Barker, the team bounced back with an impressive 25-5 victory. Wills O played a key role, scoring two tries in the first half through his excellent ball-running skills. The team’s performance reflected their determination and the positive progress they are making.
Year 3 White Rugby
The 3White Rugby team faced two competitive matches, winning against Scots with a score of 25-20 and losing to Kings with a close score of 20-15. Michael L proved to be a prolific try scorer, crossing the try line four times throughout the games. Theodore C showcased his tackling skills, making important defensive contributions. Charles H demonstrated improved involvement in the matches, highlighting his growth and development as a player.





Tennis Round 4
The player’s dedication and enthusiasm on the court have been commendable, reflecting their commitment to ongoing improvement. Students actively engage in the targeted drills and exercises. Each week they have shown improved hand-eye coordination and control over their shots. Further work on their footwork is recommended! Most importantly, the players are enjoying themselves, providing the space for further improvement. Many thanks to the parents who ensure their son arrives on time and dresses correctly each week.


Multi-Sports Round 4
The Multi-sports squad are showing noticeable improvement in their game management and positional play. Special mention this week goes to Oscar V who continues to shine in his goalkeeper duties! Fearless in defending his area and a tremendous clearing kick in his repertoire. Kingston T is buzzing in midfield and his ball distribution is a delight to watch! Hugo C B and Yanni A are scoring some cracking goals! High quality game on Saturday morning. Well done lads.
