2024 Mother’s Day Invitation
We do hope you can join us on Friday, 10 May 2024 for our special Mother’s Day Morning. Mothers, grandmothers, aunts or other special females in the lives of our students are all welcome. Fathers are also welcome to attend!
Activities and light refreshments commence at 7:45am and conclude by 8:30am. Please let your son’s class teacher know if you cannot join us and we will arrange for your son to be ‘buddied’ up with a friend for the morning.
Please note: Co-Curricular activities that normally occur on Friday mornings will not be running on this day.
In an effort to ensure the safety of a large number of people, carline will not operate that morning. There is very limited parking on the School site and it is therefore recommended that you arrive early and park in the Lyne Park carpark. Please do not park in Iluka Street or Elanora Street.
Support for families wanting to understand how to support children experiencing trauma
As a result of the devastating events that recently unfolded at Westfield in Bondi Junction, and the Church in Wakeley, many families are still in a state of disbelief trying to comprehend how and why these incidents occurred. All of us have been affected in some way, with some being left more impacted than others.
It is vitally important for parents and carers to check in regularly with their children. Being aware of what information they have been exposed to enables support provisions to be actioned as needed.
If you are concerned, we encourage you to use this Special Report from SchoolTV as a resource to help your family at this time:
