Year 4 and Year 3 Learning Showcases
Year 4 Learning Showcase
To celebrate the culmination of a week of provocation for ‘Where we are in place and time’, Year 4 parents were invited to join students for the final morning of their adventure into Terra Fabula. This event was designed to immerse parents into the students’ learning journey and to share their understanding of how the past shapes the present.
Terra Fabula was an immersive experience that guided students through a series of challenges and conditions to create their own fictional land and people. Integrating geographical, scientific, mathematical and English skills, students navigated how their communities lived, farmed and connected with others.
But what happens when explorers arrive, followed by settlers? Parents joined students to help them ponder and navigate these scenarios as they explored the concepts of causation, connection and perspective.
Thank you to the Year 4 families for their support and involvement in making this showcase an enriching learning experience for our Year 4 students.

Year 3 Learning Showcase
Year 3 families were welcomed into classrooms on Friday, 24 May, to participate in an immersive experience in which students demonstrated and discussed the concepts and skills from their current unit of inquiry, ‘Sharing the planet’. Students were able to demonstrate their understanding of the important decisions we make about agricultural processes and advancing technologies in the industry, by sharing the automated farming models that they created. Parents had the opportunity to engage with students to gain a deeper understanding of their creativity, thinking skills and communication skills.
Thank you to all Year 3 families who came to support our learners and celebrate their learning.
