Morning Carlines

If parents bring their child to school for an early start co-curricular activity, they should drop him at the Reception gate.

No cars should wait in the driveway for the carline gate to open prior to 7:40am.

Parents should park elsewhere and bring their son into the school if they arrive early or drop them at the Reception gate.

Those students who do arrive early and who do not have a co-curricular activity, will need to be taken to before school care. There is no supervision of the playground prior to 7:45am. We ask our parents to please follow these guidelines, so we can help the flow of traffic on Kent Road for our neighbours and other road users.

Afternoon Carlines
Recently, the school has received several complaints from our neighbours about the blocking of Kent Rd from 2:30pm when school families are lining up in cars to wait for the carline to open. It is then impossible for other users of the road to travel up Kent Road for more than 20 minutes. Please do not enter Kent Road early for your son’s carline and block the road for other users.

There is ONE key change to K-Y2 collection times on a Wednesday. We have moved Assembly/Chapel to the last part of the school day rather than straight after lunch, so attending parents can take their sons home at the conclusion of the Assembly/Chapel.

If you need to collect your child in the carline, please arrive at the indicated time for his year group and not before:

·       For Kindergarten, please arrive at 2.50pm, except on Wednesdays when you should arrive at 3.10pm.

·       For Y1 and Y2, please arrive after 3.00pm, as students are still in class until 3pm, except on Wednesdays when you should arrive at 3.10pm.

·       For Y3 and Y4, please arrive after 3.20pm.

·       For Y5 and Y6, please arrive at 3.30pm. We appreciate your cooperation and support in this.

Please be aware that Woollahra Council will be sending their parking rangers and booking cars that are stationary before the carline opens. Parents are welcome to park behind Lyne Park and then walk in to collect their sons. Older students are encouraged to use buses to travel to and from school where practical. We ask for our parents’ full cooperation, so we can be good neighbours.
