CIS Primary Athletics Championships
There were some outstanding achievements from our Junior School students at the recent CIS Primary Athletics Championships. Reaching this level of competition is an exceptional accomplishment, and all six students who represented Cranbrook Junior School are to be congratulated: Sebastian C, Bertie M, Aidan P, Aryan S, Jet S and Will W.
Particular highlights from the event were the performances of Bertie M (1st 100m & Long Jump) and Aryan S (1st in High Jump & 3rd in Long Jump), who have both qualified for the NSW PSSA Athletics Championships to be held in Term 4. This is a remarkable achievement and a testament to their hard work and dedication.
Our thanks and congratulations must also be given to Mr Fryer who has overseen the preparation of the students for the Championships, as well as discipline coaches Michael Dooley – Sprints, Tay Clark – High Jump and Long Jump and Alec Diamond – Discus.
