{"id":916,"date":"2025-09-19T15:11:48","date_gmt":"2025-09-19T05:11:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/cghs\/?post_type=article&#038;p=916"},"modified":"2025-09-19T15:11:48","modified_gmt":"2025-09-19T05:11:48","slug":"state-athletics-2025","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/cghs\/article\/state-athletics-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"State Athletics 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Congratulations to Our State Athletics Representatives<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last week, four Canterbury Girls High School students proudly represented our school at the CHS State Athletics Championships at Homebush, achieving outstanding results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf <strong>Taylor Verdon<\/strong> claimed 1st place in the U15s High Jump with a remarkable jump of 1.51 metres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf <strong>Tallara Joseph Riogi<\/strong> impressed across multiple events, placing 3rd in Shot Put and 2nd in Discus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf <strong>Anna Sarkodee<\/strong> competed strongly in discus, securing an excellent placing against some of the best athletes in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf <strong>Eliza Dawson<\/strong> delivered an exceptional track performance, earning Silver in the 800m (2:20.31) and Bronze in the 400m (59.71).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are extremely proud of these students for their hard work, talent, and dedication.
